Read excerpts
waiting for spring to arrive:
these dogs, laying abed in the raw sun,
those bare trees, shaking outside the window
this chill day,
that frail human connection โ
with a neighbor,
with words on a screen, on a page โ
are the lightest of filaments
that connect us,
that make us,
that save us.
