Back in the late 80's, before Michael McInnis co-founded Nixes Mate, he started a small underground press called Primal Publishing based in the Primal Plunge, a bookstore on the top floor of a decrepit building in Allston, Massachusetts. Primal Primers resurrect that underground feeling, publishing radical public domain text twisted through with a dry sense of humor lifted straight out of Situationist/Punk alternative art scenes.
