The Fly Cotton Chapbook series is a limited edition series of seven chapbooks. Each chapbook focused on a cultural or historical  individual. Three in the series are sold out. There are limited supplies of the remaining four chapbooks.

Back in the late 80's, before Michael McInnis co-founded Nixes Mate, he started a small underground press called Primal Publishing based in the Primal Plunge, a bookstore on the top floor of a decrepit building in Allston. Primal Primers resurrect that underground feeling, publishing radical public domain text twisted through with a wry sense of humor lifted straight out of Situationist/Punk alternative art scenes.
