Early November · Scott Silsbe

Leaning out of my upstairs bathroom window,
I watch the crows follow each other, en masse,
from Garfield toward downtown into the sunset.

Scott Silsbe was born in Detroit and grew up down the river from there. He now lives in Pittsburgh. His poems have been collected in three books: Unattended Fire, The River Underneath the City, and Muskrat Friday Dinner. He is also an assistant editor at Low Ghost Press.
